Greg became a professional musician at the age of eighteen and spent the next ten years playing all over Europe. In addition to his extensive 'live' experience Greg has worked in recording studios as far afield as Ibiza, Spain, working with producers Peter Luedmann (Elton John,Laura Branigan), Brian Humphries (who engineered Pink Floyd's ‘Wish You Were Here’ and ‘Animals’ albums) and Bob Lamb (Duran Duran, UB40). Greg can also add the 1983 German entry to the Eurovision Song Contest to his recording c.v....but he doesn't like to talk about it!
Part of the 80s was spent as a member of the band 'The Stingrays' for whom Greg wrote the single '(No More) Broken Hearts'. Noted for their live act 'The Stingrays' toured with many top name British acts as well as sharing the stage with American headliners such as, Motown legends, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas. Greg's other live credits include working with 'The Associates', Ricky Ross (Deacon Blue) and 'Acid Jazz' Hammond organ pioneer Mike Carr.
